There are many different styles of Japanese tableware. Most of the tableware I have selected is from the southern part of Japan in the towns of Arita and Hasmi.
I chose the porcelain from these areas because my hometown is very close to Arita; in addition, one of my best friends is the principal designer at one of the kilns.
The tableware I have selected reflects both a modern style and also a more traditional style. When choosing the pieces I am going to carry I look not only at the shape and pattern but I also look for pieces that have a practical use.
My goal is to introduce beautiful but functional Japanese tableware, crafts and interior design products, which works in harmony with the tastes and lifestyle of American people.
